
Hamlet Tibbs Elevated to Men’s Basketball Associate Head Coach

BUFFALO, N.Y. – University at Buffalo men's basketball Head Coach George Halcovage III announced that assistant coach Hamlet Tibbs has been elevated to associate head coach on Thursday afternoon.
"We are excited to announce Coach Tibbs as our Associate Head Coach for UB Men's Basketball," stated Head Coach George Halcovage III. "He is one of the most talented coaches in the country and is ready to help lead our program in this role!"
Tibbs joined the Bulls' staff on April 7th as one of Halcovage's first hires.
Tibbs, a 2007 graduate from West Virginia University brings many years of coaching experience to the Bulls with successful stints at Notre Dame, the University of Albany, University of Vermont, and The Albany Academy along with the AAU Albany Rocks program.
He spent the 2022-23 season as an assistant coach under Head Coach Mike Brey at Notre Dame.
