Three Bulls Named to Academic All-District Team

BUFFALO, NY – The 2023 Academic All-District® Football team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), was released and includes three University at Buffalo student-athletes. Wide receiver Cole Harrity, kicker Alex McNulty and linebacker Red Murdock were all honored.
The Academic All-District® Football teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Harrity is a real estate development major with a 3.58 grade point average. He started all 12 games for the Bulls and had 35 catches for 294 yards and three touchdowns on the season.
McNulty was named Academic All-District Team for the second straight season. A graduate student studying physics, McNulty has a 4.0 grade point average. He finished his career at UB as the program's all-time leader in field goals (60), extra points (189) and scoring (369).
Murdock is a psychology major with a 3.75 grade point average. The redshirt-freshman had a breakout season for the Bulls, totaling 60 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and four forced fumbles.
