Bulls Drop Two at Armbar at the Armory

BUFFALO, NY – It was another tough test for the University at Buffalo wrestling team as they competed at the Armbar at the Armory in Albany, NY on Friday night. The Bulls faced Northern Colorado of the Big XII and Virginia of the ACC.

The Bulls dropped the opener to Northern Colorado, 35-6. Chase Kranitz got UB's first win with a 10-5 decision over Branson Britton at 184. Sam Mitchell followed with a 2-0 decision over Noah Pettigrew 197.

In the nightcap, Buffalo fell to Virginia, 37-6. Max Elton got the Bulls off to a good start with a 3-2 decision over Kyle Montaperto at 125. At 165, Hunter Shaut continued his strong start to the season with a 4-1 decision over Nick Sanko at 165.

The Bulls are back in action at the Black Knight Open on Sunday at West Point.
