Naccarella Earns MAC Swimmer of the Week Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced Swimmer and Diver of the Week Honors on Wednesday afternoon. Graduate Student swimmer Toni Naccarella earned Women's MAC Swimmer of the Week honors.
Naccarella won four individual events in UB's two meets across the weekend. In the Bulls' tri-meet with Toledo and Ohio on Friday, Naccarella finished first in the 50 and 100 freestyle, breaking a Toledo pool record with a time of 50.11-seconds in the 100 free. In UB's dual meet against Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Naccarella won the 200 and 100 freestyle. Naccarella was part of four winning relay teams in the two meets, including the Bulls' 200 freestyle relay team on Friday, which also broke a Toledo pool record.
This is the first time she has earned the honor this season and third in her collegiate career.

Buffalo returns to the pool on Saturday, Jan. 28 as they host Bowling Green at Alumni Arena Natatorium at 12 p.m.
