TBT 2022 Bracket and Matchup Revealed for Buffalo Alumni Team Blue Collar U

BUFFALO, June 22, 2022 – The Basketball Tournament (TBT) – the $1 million, winner-take-all summer basketball event broadcast live on ESPN networks – today revealed the eight-team bracket for the Syracuse Regional hosted by Boeheim's Army, a Syracuse alumni team. Blue Collar U, a second-year Buffalo alumni team and TBT 2021 quarterfinalist, was previously accepted into the regional in January. Games will be played at SRC Arena in Syracuse from July 24-27.

Blue Collar U is organized by former Buffalo and current Alabama assistant coach Bryan Hodgson, as well as former student manager Wesley Scheier, and UB basketball supporter Adam March. The team will be coached by former Buffalo Director of Basketball Operations Adam Bauman. Their current roster includes:

The #2 seed Blue Collar U will take on the #7 seed NG Saints in the team's first-round game on Friday, July 22 at 2 pm ET. If Blue Collar U advances to the second round, they will face the winner of #3 seed Friday Beers and #6 seed Mental Toughness on Saturday, July 23 at 2 pm ET.

The Syracuse Regional championship game is Monday, July 25 at 7 pm ET.

The winner of the Syracuse Regional will head to UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio for Championship Week. Quarterfinals games are July 28-29, and the semifinals and $1 million winner-take-all championship game will be July 30 and Aug. 2 at UD.
