
Jeenathan Williams Selected to Compete At Reese’s Division I College All-Star Game

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo men's basketball standout Jeenathan Williams has been selected as one of 21 players across all of Division I to play in the NABC Reese's College All-Star Game, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced Tuesday afternoon.
The game will be part of Final Four weekend in New Orleans and will take place on Friday, April 1 at 3:30 pm at the Caesars Superdome, site of this year's Final Four. The game will also air nationally on CBS Sports Network.
Williams is the only Mid-American Conference representative on either the East or West roster. He is also the first UB player to play in this all-star game since Nick Perkins in 2019.
The Rochester, NY native was named an All-District selection by both the United States Basketball Writers Association and the NABC. Williams was an All-MAC First Team selection, while earning two votes for MAC player of the year. He began the season with a career high 32 points at Michigan and has scored 20 or more points 10 times this season, while recording double figures in all 29 games he played. Williams finished eighth place in school history in a career points and the senior averaged just over 20 points per game during UB's nine-game winning streak during the month of February.
The East All-Stars will be coached by Liberty head coach Ritchie McKay, and the West All-Stars will be led by Missouri head coach Dennis Gates.
