Victoria Franz Completes NCAA Championship Run

ATLANTA - University at Buffalo women's diver Victoria Franz wrapped up her 2022 NCAA Championship run on Friday afternoon. Franz was the Bulls' first diver to make it to the NCAA Championships since Meili Carpenter earned All-American honors in 2010.
The junior diver competed in the 1-meter dive on Thursday morning where she finished 30th overall out of 47. She finished with a 6-dive score of 267.50. She finished ahead of divers from elite programs such as Stanford, USC, Notre Dame, UCLA, and Kentucky.
On Friday afternoon Franz competed in the 3-meter dive. She finished the event in a score of 263.70. Her time was good for 41st overall out of 51 NCAA Championship divers.
This wraps up the 2021-22 UB swimming and diving season. Thank you fans for your support throughout the season!
