Bulls in Second Place After Day Three of Zippy Invite

AKRON, Ohio - The University at Buffalo women's swimming and diving team (0-1, 0-1 MAC) finished day three of the Zippy Invite in second place with 1,240 points.
Three Bulls qualified for the 100 butterfly finals. Clarice Fisher finished fifth in 53.92-seconds, with Nicole Aguilar (54.14-seconds) and Amanda Neeb (54.66-seconds) finishing sixth and seventh, respectively.
In the 400 IM championship finals, Taeghen Brezovski finished seventh in 4:26.17. Lena Li qualified for the B-Finals, finishing in 13th place in 4:28.93.
Toni Naccarella finished second in the 200 freestyle in 1:47.70. Mia Naccarella finished in fourth place in 1:49.16 and Sawyer Bosley finished fifth in 1:50.50. Abbey Malmstrom finished 11th in 1:50.86.
Katie Pollock won the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.92, with Brezovski finishing eighth in 1:04.09. Michaela Morgus claimed 11th in 1:03.81.
Four Bulls made the 100 backstroke finals, with Mia Naccarella finishing fourth in 53.87-seconds. Toni Naccarella (55.40-seconds), Malmstrom (55.45-seconds), and Maddy McDonough (56.13-seconds) finished sixth, seventh, and eighth, respectively.
UB claimed third in the 200 freestyle relay, with the team of Ellie Duley, Bosley, Mia Naccarella, and Toni Naccarella finishing in a time of 1:31.30.
The Bulls had a strong showing in the diving well, claiming three of the top four spots in the 3-meter dive finals. Victoria Franz won the event with a score of 343.75, while Marialis Kwak finished third with a score of 299.55. Patricia Arceri finished fourth with a score of 289.20.
