Bulls in Third Place After Day Two of Zippy Invite

AKRON, Ohio – The University at Buffalo women's swimming and diving team (0-1, 0-1 MAC) finished day two of the Zippy Invite in third place with 577 points.

In the 500 freestyle, Elise McCaul finished in 10^th place in 4:57.09, and Ava Cunningham finished 14^th in 5:02.26. Karen Austin finished in 16^th in 5:03.90.

Katie Pollock finished in 13^th place in the 200 IM in 2:03.80, with Lena Li finishing in 15^th in 2:04.61.

Toni Naccarella finished second in the 50 freestyle in 22.67-seconds. Elinor Duley finished eighth in 23.26-seconds.

The Bulls ended day two with a second-place finish in the 400 medley relay. The team of Mia Naccarella, Pollock, Clarice Fisher, and Toni Naccarella finished in 3:37.61. Abigail Malmstrom, Taeghen Brezovski, Nicole Aguilar, and Alicia Wood finished in sixth in 3:43.65.

The invite got underway Thursday with the 200 medley relay and 800 freestyle relay. The team of Mia Naccarella, Pollock, Aguilar, and Toni Naccarella finished second in the 200 medley relay in 1:39.61.

In the 800 freestyle relay, the team of Sawyer Bosley, Toni Naccarella, McCaul, and Mia Naccarella finished third in 7:23.82.
