
Fair Named MAC Player of the Week

BUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo junior guard Dyaisha Fair has been named the Mid-American Conference Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon. It is the second weekly honor for Fair and the Bulls this season.
Fair turned in a pair of stellar performances as she averaged 27.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game to lead the Bulls to a 2-0 start to MAC play for the second time in as many years. She scored 26 points to go with four rebounds, two assists and four steals in a 92-75 win over Central Michigan on Wednesday. On Saturday, Fair scored 26 of her game-high 28 points in the second half to go with seven rebounds and five assists to lead UB to a big road win at Miami (OH) on Sunday.
The Rochester, NY leads the Bulls in scoring at 22.3 points per game through 12 contests. Her 22.3 points per game ranks seventh nationally and she also ranks in the top 25 in field goals made (95), three-point field goals made (37), three-point field goals made per game (3.1) and final points (267).
The Bulls wrap up a two-game road trip with a contest Bowling Green on Wednesday night at 7pm. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3 and can be heard on AM 1400 and The Varsity Network.
