
Bulls Head to Long Island for Duals Against LIU and Hofstra

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team will head to Long Island this weekend for a pair of non-conference duals. The Bulls will take on LIU on Friday night and wrestle at Hofstra on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulls are 7-5 overall and 4-1 in the MAC this season. UB has won seven of their last nine duals including a sweep of conference foes Cleveland State and SIU-Edwardsville.
LIU is 0-6 on the season. They most recently dropped a 46-0 contest to Columbia. Hofstra is 2-7 on the season and is coming off a 21-15 loss to Bucknell on Saturday.
This will be UB's second ever meeting with LIU. The Bulls defeated the Sharks, 37-3 in 2020. The all-time series between UB and Hofstra is tied, 5-5. The Bulls won the last meeting, 25-12, in 2019.
