
19 Bulls Named MAC Distinguished Scholar Athletes

CLEVELAND, OH – The Mid-American Conference announced the Distinguished Scholar Athletes for the 2020-21 academic season and 19 University at Buffalo student-athletes made the list. Seven members of the women's swimming and diving team made the list as well as four members of the men's track and field team, three from women's soccer, two from men's cross country and a member of the football, softball and women's tennis teams were honored as the "best of the best" from each sport's All-MAC and Academic All-MAC Team.
The Distinguished Scholar Athlete honor is a seventh-year award given to student-athletes who qualified for the Academic All-MAC Team with a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or above and earned All-MAC honors in their sport.
