BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo Athletics announced on Wednesday an expansion of its partnership with Broadview Federal Credit Union, naming the New York-based financial institution the official jersey patch partner of the men's and women's basketball teams.
The one-year agreement further enhances a relationship that currently includes naming rights of both Broadview Stadium and Broadview Arena. The Broadview Federal Credit Union jersey patch will debut on October 21 when UB hosts Mercyhurst in men's basketball and October 28 when the Bulls host D'Youville in women's basketball at Broadview Arena.
"Becoming the exclusive jersey patch sponsor of University at Buffalo Men's and Women's Basketball is a tremendous opportunity for Broadview. UB's impact extends far beyond the court. Through academics and athletics, the University is shaping future leaders, advancing innovation, and serving as a source of pride throughout Western New York and across New York State," Broadview CEO Michael Castellana said. "This partnership represents another meaningful step in Broadview's growing relationship with the university and reflects our ongoing commitment to investing in higher education and the opportunities it creates for students, families, and communities. By supporting Bulls Basketball, we're investing in successful programs that unite people, inspire achievement, and embody the values of hard work, excellence, and opportunity. We look forward to an exciting future together and can't wait to see the Broadview logo worn proudly this season."
"We're thrilled to expand our relationship with Broadview Federal Credit Union as the jersey patch sponsor of UB Basketball. Broadview has already demonstrated a strong commitment to UB Athletics," UB Vice President and Director of Athletics Mark Alnutt said. "We are proud to partner with an organization that shares our values, and we look forward to building a successful relationship that enhances our student-athlete experience, benefits our fans, and the greater Western New York community."
