
Dominic Johnson Selected by Edmonton in the CFL Draft

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo wide receiver Dominic Johnson was selected by the Edmonton Football Team with the 32nd pick in the 2021 CFL Draft on Tuesday night. Slated to return to UB for the 2021 season, Johnson will have the opportunity to join Edmonton in 2022.
Johnson, a native of Windsor, Ontario, has spent the past two seasons playing wide receiver after beginning his career as a quarterback for the Bulls. He has 11 catches for 89 yards and a touchdown over his career.
It marks the second straight year a UB player has been selected in the CFL Draft. Offensive lineman Tomas Jack-Kurdyla was also picked by the Edmonton Football Team with the fourth overall pick in 2020.
