
Bulls Complete Second Day of Zippy Invite

AKRON, OH – The University at Buffalo swimming and diving competed against Akron at the second day of the Zippy Invite on Saturday.
The day was highlighted by Antonia Naccarella who won the 200 freestyle. The junior won the event with a time of 1:48.72, nearly two seconds ahead of second place Victoria Kaufman of Akron.
Nicole Roitenberg finished second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 53.78 – a Division I B cut qualifying time.
For the second straight day the Bulls were strong in the diving well, taking the top three places in the 3 meter. Patricia Arceri won with a score of 284.93 – a Division I B cut. Tori Franz took second (279.60) and Louise Bradley took third (276.89).
A day after winning 200 IM, Olivia Sapio took second in the 400 IM. Her time of 4:17.19 was good for a Division I B cut.
The Zippy invite will conclude on Sunday.
