Novitsky Named to FWAA Freshman All-American Team Midseason Watch List

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo center Mike Novitsky was named to the Football Writers Association of American (FWAA) Freshman All-American Team Midseason Watch List on Wednesday. He is one of 70 players, including three from the Mid-American Conference, named to the list.
A redshirt-freshman, Novitisky has started all seven games at center for the Bulls this season. He has helped block for an offense that ranks second in the MAC in rushing, averaging 224.4 yards per game, and tied for first in the league in sacks allowed with seven.
The FWAA Freshman All-American team will be announced in January.
