
Seven Bulls Named to Academic All-MAC Football Team

CLEVELAND, OH – The University at Buffalo placed seven football players on the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, the league announced on Monday. Four members of the team were repeat honorees, while three were named for the first time.

Jackson, Lefebvre, Osborn and Otwinowski were named to the team for the second straight year.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
The Bulls will play Troy in the Dollar General Bowl in Mobile, AL on Saturday at 7:00 pm (EST).
