Ariola Ranked 20th in Preseason Rankings

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo wrestler Joe Ariola is ranked in WIN Magazine's preseason rankings. The Bulls redshirt-junior is ranked 20th in the 184-lb. weight class.
Ariola went 14-17 overall and 9-13 in duals last season. He ranked second on the team in takedowns with 29. Ariola came on late in the season, going 4-2 at the Mid-American Conference Championships to earn a spot at the NCAA Championships at Madison Square Garden. He scored a huge upset by defeating third-ranked Victor Avery of Edinboro in the first round of the NCAA Championships.
