
Three Wrestlers Compete at Canada Cup

GUELPH, ONTARIO – Three University at Buffalo wrestlers competed at the Canada Cup at the Sleeman Centre in Guelph, Ontario over the weekend. Wrestling for BWC/New York Athletic Club, James Devine III, Muhamed McBryde and Nolan Terrance all competed in the Canada Cup – one of the premier international wrestling tournaments held in North America.
McBryde finished fourth in the 74 kg weight class, going 2-2, including a loss to Livan Lopez – the 2012 Olympic bronze medalist.
Devine finished fourth in the 70 kg weight class after going 2-2. Terrance also finished fourth in the 125 kg weight class.
"This was a great experience for our guys as they continue to progress," head coach John Stutzman said. "This will help them develop and make them better as we head into next season."
