
UB Rowing Heads to CAA Championship on Sunday

BUFFALO, NY – The 2015 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Rowing Championship will be held on Sunday at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, NJ. The University at Buffalo, the State University of New York rowing team will compete against Northeastern, Delaware, Drexel and Eastern Michigan for the conference crown.
Teams hit the water at 10:10 am with the first-ever Third Varsity 8 race, followed by the Varsity 4 race. Shortly there after, the Second Varsity 8 race takes place at 10:30 am, and the Varsity 8 competition wraps up the action at 10:40 am. There will be an awards ceremony highlighting the All-CAA award winners as well as the Coach of the Year and the All-CAA academic at the conclusion of racing.
The Bulls are looking to improve upon their second place finish from a season ago. UB has had a strong history at the CAA Championship since it began in 2010. The Bulls have finished no worse than third, including taking home the conference crown in 2010.
