
Bulls Head To Bowling Green For Pivotal MAC East Battle

BUFFALO, NY - The Bulls remain on the road as they head to Bowling Green, who is currently tied for the MAC lead with a 9-4 record. UB and BG will meet twice in the final five games of the season.
The Bulls are coming off a 78-63 win at Eastern Michigan on Wednesday night where they shot a season-high 44 free throws. Junior Justin Moss continues to lead the Bulls and the MAC at 18.6 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. Earlier this week, he was named a candidate for the Karl Malone Award, given to the nation's top power forward. Sophomore Shannon Evans adds 15.1 points per game and 110 assists.
Bowling Green is 17-7 and 9-4 in conference, but had a four-game winning streak snapped with a 67-56 loss to Miami (OH) on Wednesday. Richaun Holmes leads BGSU at 14.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. Zack Denny is second in both categories at 9.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per contest. The Falcons are strong defensively, allowing under 60.0 points per game.
The Falcons lead the all-time series 18-11 as the two schools split last year's meetings, both winning at home. Since the Stroh Center opened in 2011, UB is 1-2 in three meetings there.
