Buffalo vs. Central Michigan Game Notes
BUFFALO, NY - The Bulls remain home on Saturday afternoon as they look to snap a two-game losing skid with a game vs. Central Michigan. The Chippewas defeated UB earlier this year in Mt. Pleasant.
UB fell to Toledo on Tuesday night, 92-88, as the Bulls continue to be led by Justin Moss, who leads the MAC at 19.0 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. Moss is coming off a career-high 33 points in his last game. Sophomore Shannon Evans is second on the team at 15.3 points per game and leads UB with 104 assists. UB has six players averaging at least 7.0 points per game.
Central Michigan is 17-5 on the year and 7-4 in MAC play. They have won two straight including a 68-57 win at Ohio on Tuesday. Chris Fowler leads CMU with 15.4 points and 134 assists. John Simons adds 11.6 points and a team-high 6.4 rebounds per game. Central Michigan averages 80.4 points per game, which is eighth in the nation.
The Bulls lead the all-time series, 14-13, but had a six-game winning streak snapped earlier this year. The Chippewas have not won in Buffalo since the 2006-07 season.
Tickets are still available by calling 1-877-UB-THERE. Fans who aren't able to make it to Alumni Arena can listen in on ESPN 1520 AM, with Josh Whetzel on the call. The game will also air live on ESPN3 as part of the ESPN University Production Initiative. Paul Peck and Kevin Sylvester will be on the call.
