
Bulls Conclude MAC-Opening Road Trip Saturday At Western Michigan

KALAMAZOO, MI - The Bulls will remain on the road as they look to start MAC play 2-0 at Western Michigan on Saturday afternoon. The Bulls are coming off a 79-72 win at Miami (OH) Wednesday night, while Western Michigan looks to overcome a MAC-opening loss at Akron.
UB is led by junior Justin Moss, who recorded his seventh double-double of the season against Miami. He is currently averaging 16.9 points and 9.6 rebounds per game, which both lead the league. Sophomore Shannon Evans is second on the team at 15.9 points per game and leads UB with 5.4 assists. The Bulls have seven players averaging at least 7.4 points per game.
Western Michigan is the defending MAC Champions, but they fell at Akron, 72-52 on Tuesday night. The Broncos are led by Connar Tava, who is averaging 14.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Sixth-year senior David Brown averaging 13.2 points per game and Tucker Haymond adds 13.2.
This will be the 21st all-time meeting between the two schools with WMU holding a slim 11-9 lead. The Bulls have won four of the last five, including an 84-63 win in Buffalo last year. Saturday will mark the first of two regular season meetings between UB and WMU.
