
Bulls To Black Out Alumni Arena For Nationally-Televised Game Friday Night

BUFFALO, NY - The Bulls will Black Out Alumni Arena as UB hosts Kent State for Friday night's nationally-televised affair. The Golden Flashes come into the contest leading the MAC East, and winners of six straight. The Bulls look to remain perfect at home.
UB defeated Western Michigan on Tuesday night to snap a two-game losing streak. Justin Moss had his 10th double-double of the year with 23 points and 10 rebounds. He leads the MAC in scoring and rebounding, averaging 18.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per contest. Sophomore Shannon Evans adds 15.1 points per game. The Bulls have five players averaging at least 8.0 points per game.
Kent State defeated Central Michigan 63-53 on Tuesday, but will hit the road for just the third time in conference play. Jimmy Hall leads the Golden Flashes at 15.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. Devareaux Manley adds 12.2 points, while Kris Brewer is averaging 11.2 points per game. The Golden Flashes are holding opponents to under 60.0 points per game.
Kent State leads the all-time series 29-10, but the Bulls swept the two meetings last season including their first ever win at Kent. UB has won five of the last six games in Buffalo.
