Buffalo vs. Wisconsin Game Notes
BUFFALO, NY - UB heads back to the road as they face their second opponent form last year's Final Four when they play #6 Wisconsin. The Bulls enter the game having won three straight. Sunday will begin a stretch of three games over seven days to end non-conference play.
UB is led by three players in double figures, including junior Justin Moss, who leads the MAC in scoring (17.3) and rebounding (10.2). Sophomore Shannon Evans who adds 14.8 points and a team-high 5.2 assists per game. Junior Jarryn Skeete adds 10.9 points per contest and leads the team in three-point shooting at 50%. Today's game is a homecoming for freshman Lamonte Bearden.
Wisconsin is 11-1 on the year following a 68-56 win at Cal on Tuesday. The Badgers have won four straight with their only loss coming to #2 Duke. Wisconsin is led by All-American candidate Frank Kaminsky, who averages 15.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Nigel Hayes adds 12.2 point and a team-high 8.1 rebounds per contest. Wisconsin has started the same five in all 12 games this year and all five are shooting over 45% from the field.
Sunday's game marks the first ever meeting between Buffalo and Wisconsin.
