
Bulls Host Big 4 Rival Niagara On Friday Night

BUFFALO, NY - The Bulls close out their brief two-game homestand on Friday evening as UB hosts Big 4 rival, Niagara. UB is 6-2 on the season and has won its last two contests, including an 80-70 decision on Tuesday vs. Drexel. Niagara is 1-6 on the year and looking to snap a five-game losing streak.
The Bulls have three players averaging double figures led by junior Justin Moss, who leads the MAC in scoring (16.5) and rebounding (10.1). Sophomore Shannon Evans is averaging 14.1 points per contest and 5.0 assists per game, while junior Jarryn Skeete averages 10.1 points per game. Freshman Lamonte Bearden is averaging 9.9 points and 3.8 assists per game.
Niagara is led by Emile Blackman, who is averaging 11.9 points per game and Ramone Snowden, who is averaging 10.7 points and a team-high 7.9 rebounds per contest.
Niagara leads the all-time 56-30 and the Purple Eagles snapped a four-game winning streak by the Bulls last season with a 92-81 victory. The Bulls have won five of the last six meetings at Alumni Arena.
