BUFFALO, NY - The Bulls return to the friendly confines of Alumni Arena for the first time since opening night on Tuesday as UB hosts Drexel. The Bulls went 4-2 on their six-game road trip and have a 5-2 mark on the year, while Drexel enters the contest 2-6.
UB has been off since Dec. 7 when they won 74-59 at Robert Morris. Junior Justin Moss leads the Bulls at 16.6 points per game and 10.1 rebounds per contest. Sophomore Shannon Evans adds 15.1 points per contest, while Lamonte Bearden and Jarryn Skeete both average over nine points per game.
Drexel has lost two straight following a 65-55 setback to LaSalle on Saturday. Damion Lee leads the Dragons at 20.3 points per game, the only Drexel player averaging in double figures. Tonight will mark just the second true road game for Drexel this year.
The Bulls are 2-0 in the all-time series against the Dragons, including a win at Drexel last season. The only other win game in 2005 when the Bulls defeated Drexel at Alumni Arena in the first round of the NIT, 81-76, in overtime.
Tickets are still available by calling 1-877-UB-THERE. Fans who aren't able to make it to Alumni Arena can listen in on ESPN 1520 AM, with Josh Whetzel on the call. The game will also air live on ESPN3 as part of the ESPN University Production Initiative. Paul Peck and Kevin Sylvester will be on the call.
