Buffalo vs. Kentucky Game Notes
LEXINGTON, KY - The Bulls will have one of their biggest tests in program history on Sunday afternoon as UB travels to Rupp Arena where it will face the #1 team in the nation in the Kentucky Wildcats. This will be the first of four games in four different locations that are part of the Cawood Ledford Classic.
UB is coming off a win in its season-opener as the Bulls defeated South Dakota State, 69-67, on Friday night. Junior Justin Moss had a career day for the Bulls with 25 points and 13 rebounds. Shannon Evans also reached double figures with 17 points.
Kentucky opened its season on Friday night with an 85-45 win over Grand Canyon. The Wildcats placed four players in double figures led by 16 from Andrew Harrison. Dakari Johnson had a double-double off the bench with 10 points and 13 rebounds.
This is the first all-time meeting between these two schools and the first time that UB has ever player the number one team in the country. UB has played the #2 ranked team on multiple occasions.
The game will air live on ESPNU at Noon. The game will also air live on ESPN 1520 with the Voice of the Bulls Josh Whetzel on the call.
