New "Herd It" Television Series To Launch Saturday Morning on NBC Affiliate

BUFFALO, NY – A special four-episode series called "Herd It" hosted by Western New York sports personality Kevin Sylvester will premiere this Saturday morning at 10:30 am on WGRZ (Ch. 2). This weekly 30-minute television show will profile some of UB Athletics' most prominent personalities, starting with new men's basketball head coach Bobby Hurley.
Also to be featured in subsequent episodes will be second-year women's basketball head coach Felisha Legette-Jack and football head coach Jeff Quinn.
WGRZ can be found on channel 2/702 on Time Warner, channel 2/502 on Verizon Fios and channel 2 on DirecTV and Dish.
This series continues an increased emphasis on television presence for UB Athletics in 2013-14. In addition to "Herd It," the athletic department will also produce a weekly show called UB Athletics All-Access, which will air on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel and a monthly show called UB Athletics Insider on WBBZ.
