BUFFALO, NY – Senior Kourtney Brown has been named as one of 52 regional finalists for the State Farm Coaches' All-America Team, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association announced on Wednesday afternoon. Brown will now move on to the All-America Team selection committee, who will trim this list to 40 finalists, before naming a 10-member All-America Team on April 2.
Brown was one of six players honored from Region 4, which comprises the MAC, Conference USA and the Ohio Valley Conference. She is joined by fellow MAC student-athletes Lauren Prochaska from Bowling Green and Naama Shafir from Toledo. Also representing Region 4 is Tacarra Hayes from Tennessee Tech, Chasity Reed from Arkansas-Little Rock and Courtney Taylor from Houston.

Brown is the only player in nation who is in the top 10 in the nation in each of those categories.
