
Bulls Hit Nation's Capitol Following Break

WASHINGTON, DC - Following a 10-day layoff for finals, the University at Buffalo women's basketball team will return to action when it faces Howard at the Burr Gymnasium in Washington, DC.
The Bulls are competing for the first time since a loss at St. Bonaventure on Dec. 10 and are currently 3-7 on the year. UB is led by senior Brittany Hedderson, who became the 20th player in school history to go over the 1,000-point mark in the game against the Bonnies. Hedderson is currently averaging 17.4 points per game and is the only player to have started all 10 games this year.
Howard enters the contest 5-5 on the year after going on the road to defeat Wake Forest Sunday night in overtime. The Lady Bison has currently won four straight games and is undefeated at the Burr Gymnasium. Howard is led by Tamoria Holmes, who is averaging 17.8 points per contest.
