BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team hosts Green Bay on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm looking to stay perfect at home. The Bulls are 5-3 on the season, including 3-0 at Alumni Arena.
Buffalo is coming off an 82-64 win over Niagara on Wednesday night. The Bulls were led by Byron Mulkey who had 19 points, five rebounds, four assists and five steals.
The Bulls must like the rims at Alumni Arena, because they are averaging nearly 86 points per game at home, compared to 64 points on the road. Their average margin of victory at home this season has been 24 points.
Green Bay is 4-5 and is coming off an 81-71 loss to Duquesne on Wednesday night. The Phoenix is led by senior guard Rahmon Fletcher who is averaging 17.2 points and 2.7 assists per game.
Buffalo leads the all-time series, 1-0. The Bulls won the only other meeting between the schools, 71-65, at Green Bay last season.
Saturday's game marks the first time a team from the state of Wisconsin will play at Alumni Arena. Buffalo did host Milwaukee in 1967 and 1977, but the games were played at Clark Hall.
The UB women's team will be signing autographs at halftime.
Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here, at the Alumni Arena Ticket Office or by calling 1-877-UB-THERE.
