- The National Fencing Coaching Association awarded Kazer All-American recognition his senior year and the ECAC presented him its Order of Merit Medal.

- His initial year of varsity competition resulted in a 29-3 mark and the sabre title in the North Atlantic Championships.
- Kazer, unquestionably, had the finest win-loss record in UB Fencing history.
