Thomas A. Jobin

Thomas was a two-time NCAA All-American at the Division III level when he placed fifth in 1983-84, then he was runner-up the following season while competing at 177 pounds
- In the NCAA title match as a senior tri-captain, he was tied 4-4, despite a severe ankle sprain, but eventually dropped a 7-4 decision that ended his UB career with an overall record of 80-24, 27-7 in his final campaign
- Thomas won his weight calss in the SUNY Championship just prior to the 1985 NCAAs, besting the defending NCAA Champion in the process, and was named the event's outstanding wrestler
- He made an immdeiate impact as a true freshman when he finished second in three major tournaments (including the SUNY Championships) and was third in another
- His work ethic, leadership and determination led him to being named tri-captain as a sophomore, a season in which he was plagued with back problems
- Thomas rebounded as a junior, winning his weight class in the Cornell Open, he was third in the State Tournament, finished 24-7 overall and 12-0 in dual meets and led the Bulls in five statistical categories
