- Steven scored 48 goals in 3 years of competition, leading the team in that category each season and becoming the Bull's all-time leading scorer.
- He also leads the Bulls in career assists (19) and point-production (115) and is atop the list in single-season goals (18) and points (43), both attained in the 1996 season.
- Steven was named the 1999 Mid-American Conference Player of the Year, scoring 14 goals and 8 assists, leading the Bulls to a 10-7-1 record.
- Steven was a 1st team All-MAC selection during both his junior and senior years of competition.
- He was named the Mid-Continent Conference's Newcomer of the Year after his 16 goals and 4 assists sophomore season.
- UB posted a 31-24-2 record during his 3 years of competition.
