Rasaun was a Mid-Continent Conference first-team selection his last three years of competition who topped the Mid-Con in scoring as a senior (19.3) after finishing fourth, sixth-tenths of a point behind the leader, his junior year.
He spent five years at UB, fours as a starter and redshirted (because of his ankle injury) in what would have been his junior year when he was named the Mid-Continent Conference's preseason player of the year.
Rasaun became the Bull's career scoring leader at the time of his graduation with 1,908 points and he averaged in double figures each of his four years; finishing with a career average of 17.2 points.
At the time of his induction, Rasaun is the UB leader in 10 other statistical categories-including career field goals (648) and free throws made (568).
Along with Mike Martinho, Rasaun was named the eighth-best Division I backcourt in the nation by Athlon Sports in its preseason college basketball magazine (1997-98).
Rasaun was the recipient (one of six), as a junior, of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athlete's Achievement Award presented to a student-athlete who "…has overcome great personal, academic and/or emotional odds to achieve success while participating in intercollegiate athletics".
