Lori Seifert Desiderio

- Lori was a ten-time NCAA Division II All-American while competing mainly in the 200 and 400-yard freestyle and medley relays in three NCAA Championships meets.
- From 1989-1991, Lori earned five All-American designations by placing from fourth to seventh in the finals of the freestyle relays. She also placed from fourth to seventh in four events in the medley relays to also earn the UB swimmers additional All-American honors.
- Individually, Lori's best finish was a fifth in the 1990 NCAA Championships that earned her All-American laurels. She also received honorable mention for her finishes in three other events, including a ninth in the 100-yard butterfly (at the time, a UB record).
- Lori maintained one individual team record at the time of her induction into the Athletic Hall of Fame: a clocking of 23.80 seconds in the 50-yard butterfly established during the 1990-1991 season.
- She also shared the UB 200 and 400-yard freestyle relay records with Angela Blaser Baggett (also in the Athletic Hall of Fame), Debbie Biden and Lisa Novomesky.
