As quarterback, led the offense of 1948 and 1949 teams which had a cumulative record of 12 wins, four losses, one tie.

Also played defense.

Assistant football coach 1952-53.

More than 30 years, successful high school football coach in Buffalo; won 14 city championships in various sports.

Spearheaded alumni campaigns to solidify UB football in early 1960s.
