Jon Jones is the most decorated shot put thrower in UB history. A six-time All-American and six-time All-MAC First Team selection, Jones became the first, and to date only, individual to win a national championship at UB as he won the shot put title at the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. He is the school record holder in both the indoor and outdoor shot put.
