UB Assistant Athletic Director, 1991-1994
Coach, Women's Swimming & Diving, 1983-1992
- Her teams' overall winning percentage of .708 (63-26) is the highest in the program's history and was accomplished during the transition from Division III to I.
- Emily's student-athletes were proficient in the classroom, as well; her 1990 team ranked first, nationally, in team grade point average and the 1991 team was third. Four Academic All-Americans were on her rosters.
- Within Division II competition, she produced 44 All-Americans, 24 Honorable Mention All-Americans and her 1990 team was third in the NCAA championships. Four of her team members are enshrined in the University at Buffalo Athletic Hall of Fame.
- UB was unbeaten (11-0) during the dual meet portion of the 1986-87 campaign and won the SUNYAC championships. Three Division II East Coast Conference crowns were to follow.
- Emily focused on student welfare issues as Assistant Director of Athletics, created the first student-athlete handbook and was honored in 2002 for her effort on behalf of UB athletics and in particular, women's sports.
