Edgar Greenard Poles

1963-64 (BS '73 Management, BS '73 Social Work)

Named to the Associated Press All-East second team and received honorable mention for the AP All-American Team in 1965.

Named to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference as second team defensive lineman in 1964 and 1965.

Two-time All-East Lineman of the Week in 1965 and three-time All-East Lineman of the week in 1964.

Freshman year undefeated in the wrestling unlimited weight class and only one varsity defeat as a sophomore in the 191 lb. class.

Played professional football in Canada for the Edmonton Eskimos and British Columbia Lions for five years and received the Joe Clark Memorial trophy as the Outstanding Rookie in 1966.
