- Drew was the holder of 15 UB passing records at the time of his graduation: team co-captain his last 2 seasons, Drew quarterbacked the Bulls to the MAC title in 2008 as UB defeated 12th ranked Ball State, 42-24 - UB's 1st ever win against a top 25 team.
- He became the 1st UB quarterback to pass for more than 3,000 yards in his career.
- In the 2008 season, Drew also led the Bulls to overtime victories against Akron (4 OTs) and Bowling Green (2 OTs) that became critical in UB's run to the MAC title game.
- Originally signed as a free agent with the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL, Drew won a Grey Cup in 2013 with the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders before joining the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in
- 2014.
