Hoof Prints: A physical safety who has a chance to return to the starting lineup after an injury as a sophomore relegated him to a reserve role... UB staff says he covers space very effectively and has good ball skills...major is communication.
Junior (2013): Added great depth to the secondary, seeing action in 11 games… finished the season with 14 tackles (11 solo) to go along with four passes defensed and three pass breakups… picked off his first career pass against Eastern Michigan (10/5)… racked up a season-high five tackles (four solo) against Baylor (9/7)... had four tackles (three solo) against San Diego State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
Sophomore (2012): Came into his own in his first season as an every-day starter before missing the final six games due to injury... despite only playing in half the team’s games, he ranked ninth on the team with 40 tackles (25 solo)... made at least three solo tackles in every game he played... opened the season with four straight games with seven or more tackles, highlighted by ten tackles and a pass breakup in a win over Morgan State (9/8)... recorded six solo tackles and broke up a pair of passes against Kent State (9/19).
Redshirt Freshman (2011): Appeared in seven games, mainly on special teams... made three total tackles (two solo).
Freshman (2010): Redshirted in his first season at Buffalo.
High School: Helped lead powerhouse Chaminade Madonna to a 12-1 record…an All-Broward County selection...an intelligent player who has the ability to adjust on the run, according to the staff…recorded three interceptions, four forced fumbles, 65 tackles, three fumble recoveries and six pass breakups as an extremely active part of the Lions’ defense.
