Hoof Prints: Tall, strong-armed quarterback who will likely be the primary backup in 2015...chose Buffalo because it has his major and the coaching staff...major is social science interdisciplinary.
Junior (2014): Saw the most extensive action of his career as he appeared in five games at quarterback… went 9-of-15 for 149 yards, threw for two touchdowns and ran for another on the season… carried the ball six times for 45 yards on the year… went 4-for-6 for 84 yards and a touchdown against Baylor (9/12)… was 2-for-3 for 33 yards and a touchdown against Norfolk State (9/20)… went 3-for-5 for 32 yards at Ohio (11/5)… had a 21-yard touchdown run against Akron (11/11).
Sophomore (2013): Appeared in four games as a sophomore… Completed 4-of-7 pass attempts for 42 yards and one touchdown… Went 3-for-5 for 34 yards and a 17-yard touchdown strike to Devon Hughes against Miami (11/19).
Redshirt-Freshman (2012): Served as the team’s holder for the placekicker... attempted two passes for the season, including his first career completion on a fourth-and-eight botched field goal snap, a ten-yard strike against Miami (OH) where he also drew a roughing the passer penalty that helped to set up a touchdown drive in a last-second win (11/3)... also stepped in as a wildcat QB for a snap against the Redhawks, rushing for seven yards.
Freshman (2011): Redshirted in his first season at Buffalo.
High School: Helped his team to a regional title and holds the school record for career passing yards and passing completions in a season...a three-year letterwinner who was captain his senior year and earned the team’s scholar-athlete award…ESPN Recruiting has him as the 102nd ranked quarterback prospect in the nation…helped the Spartans to a sub-regional title in his senior season and has also earned four letters for his school’s basketball squad.
