Jake Amsler joined the UB Football program as a special teams analyst/assistant director of recruiting prior to the 2026 season.
Amsler came to Buffalo from Pace University, where he served as special teams coordinator and linebackers coach for the 2025 campaign. The Setters tied for first in the nation in kickoff return touchdowns in 2025.
Prior to Pace, Amsler spent two seasons as a quality control coach at Columbia. He helped the Lions win the 2024 Ivy League title.
He also had coaching stints at Lafayette, SUNY Alfred and Juniata.
Amsler is a 2021 graduate of Juniata College.
