Hoof Prints: A physical linebacker who earned a starting role as a redshirt freshman and has blossomed into one of the best linebackers on the team... has ranked second on the team in tackles in each of his three seasons... major is business administration.
Junior (2013): Continued to develop into one of the leaders of the defense, starting all 13 games… ranked second on the team with 79 tackles (36 solo) and 3.5 tackles for a loss to go along with one interception… Closed out the regular season with six tackles (four solo) and an interception against Bowling Green (10/29)… Recorded a season-high 11 tackles including 1.5 tackles for a loss in the UB win over UMass (10/19)… Finished the season with at least five tackles in nine games.
Sophomore (2012): Was a devastating force in the opposition’s backfield all season long, finishing second on the team in tackles (89), fourth in sacks (5), and fourth in tackles for loss (8.5 for 47 yards)... made seven tackles (1.5 for loss) and a sack in a win over Morgan State (9/8)... made 13 tackles with a half sack and broke up a pass against Connecticut (9/29)... made nine tackles and added a solo sack at Ohio (10/6)... helped lead the team to a last-second win over Miami (OH), with 1.5 sacks for 14 yards lost, a forced fumble, and eight total tackles (11/3)... made nine tackles and added a solo sack in a win over Western Michigan (11/10)... finished the season with 13 tackles (one for loss) at Bowling Green (11/23).
Redshirt Freshman (2011): Wowed the coaching staff from the first snap of the season, racking up 31 tackles in just the first month of play... started in every single game for the team... finished second on the team with 80 tackles (five for loss), and will be returning as the team’s leading tackler going into 2012... named to Phil Steele’s National All-Freshman second team... had nine tackles in three out of the first four games of the season, against Pittsburgh, Ball State and UConn... made a season-high eight solo tackles at Temple (10/15)... made two tackles for loss against Miami (OH) (10/29).
Freshman (2010): Redshirted in his first season at Buffalo.
