Sophomore (2023): Had a breakout season in 2023, appearing in all 12 games and starting nine... led the MAC in interceptions with five... ranked second on the team in tackles with 79 and added 1.5 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and two blocks... Named All-MAC First Team... Named the Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week following a a three-interception, two-pick-six performance in a victory over Central Michigan (10/7)... had an interception at Wisconsin (9/2)... had eight tackles and two pass breakups against Fordham (9/9)... had eight tackles and a forced fumble at Louisiana (9/23)... had 10 tackles and blocked the potential game-tying field goal in overtime in a victory at Akron (9/30)... had 11 tackles and a tackle for loss against Bowling Green (10/14)... had nine tackles and a tackle for loss at Kent State (10/21)... had five tackles, two fumble recoveries, an interception and a blocked punt at Toledo (10/31)... had eight tackles at Miami (OH) (11/15)... had 11 tackles against Eastern Michigan (11/21).

Previous School: Versatile athlete who played wide receiver, quarterback and defensive back at Holy Cross High School… played primarily wide receiver as a junior and led his team with 13 catches for 194 yards and four touchdowns… played all over the field as a senior… as a quarterback, went 6-for-8 for 152 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 166 yards and two additional scores in a win over St. Francis… had four interceptions and was named the defensive MVP of the 2021 CHSFL All-Star Game.
