2015: Became the Bulls most consistent middle reliever on the team as he appeared in a team-high 23 games... he finished the year with a 2-4 overall record to go along with four saves and a 5.17 ERA... pitched 47.1 innings while striking out 41 batters and walking just 15... held his opponents to a .271 batting average against... collected a career-high eight strikeouts in the Bulls 5-3 win over Bucknell (2/28) after going 5.2 innings and allowing just five hits... collected at least one strikeout in 17 of his 23 appearances... his two victories came against Big 4 foes Canisius and St. Bonaventure.
2014: Appeared in 11 games while earning two starts as a sophomore... Pitched 21.0 innings while striking out 14 batters... Recorded his second career save against Western Carolina (3/8) while pitching 2.2 innings and strking out one batter while preserving the 5-4 win... Pitched a season-high 4.0 innings and 81 pitches against Northern Illinois (3/21), striking out a season-high four batters.
2013: Had not just one of the best seasons ever for a freshman, but for any pitcher in program history... named to the Louisville Slugger All-American team... helped the team post the best combined ERA since the 1973 season... made 18 appearances and threw 40.1 innings... won six games with one save... his six wins are tied for the seventh most in a single season by any pitcher... held opponents to a .236 batting average... despite a late-season slump, his 2.01 ERA was the eighth-lowest average in the program’s history, and the lowest since the program’s reinstatement... struck out 19 batters... pitched 12.1 scoreless innings from April 26 to May 18.
High School: Was a do-everything player for coach Robert Grandizio at Shady Side Academy, playing in the outfield and at first base along with pitching for the team... earned four letters and was captain for two seasons... set school records for career and single-season home runs... 2011 WPIAL Pitcher of the Year 2012... WPIAL Player of the Year... led the team to the 2008 WPIAL title.
