Successful completion of More Than An Athlete- Leadership Foundation Attend four Student-Athlete Advisory Committee meetings. Completion of 2 Community Service events Assigned Leadership readings Complete Reflection Paper on Leadership experience. |
The Leadership Growth and Connection badge is the second installment in the More Than an Athlete Leadership Development micro-credential series. Through involvement with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, student-athletes deepen their leadership skills, expand their professional networks, and refine their personal leadership styles.
Each Leadership badge is a part of the 3-badge More Than an Athlete Leadership micro-credential. Completion of all 3 in the series allows a student-athlete to obtain the “Leadership Achievement” Badge.
Eligible Participants
The Leadership Growth and Connection badge is available to UB student-athletes who have completed the Leadership Foundation badge.
Leadership Growth & Connection Badge Process
Follow the steps below to sign up and complete the Leadership Growth & Connection badge:
- Provide your information on the following form: ENROLL HERE
- Set up a meeting with the Micro-Credential Coordinator: Diamond King-Williams (djw35@buffalo.edu)
- Complete the required criteria listed above. This will be provided in more detail by the Micro-Credential Coordinator during your initial meeting.
- Submit the required evidence for each criteria listed to the Micro-Credential Coordinator .
- Complete a final reflection meeting with Micro-Credential Coordinator
- Accept your Leadership Growth & Connection Badge through Credly
- Show off your Leadership Growth & Connection Badge!
