The Career Readiness badge is the third in the More Than an Athlete Career Development micro-credential series. Student-athletes will sharpen their interviewing, networking, presentation, and personal branding skills as they prepare for the next phase of their journey—whether that’s an internship, full-time employment, or graduate school.
Each Career badge is a part of the 3-badge More Than an Athlete Career micro-credential. Completion of all 3 in the series allows a student-athlete to obtain the “Career Development” Badge.
Eligible Participants
The Career Readiness badge is available to UB student-athletes who have completed both the Career Exploration and Career Preparation badge.
Career Readiness Badge Process
Follow the steps below to sign up and complete the Career Readiness badge:
- Provide your information on the following form: ENROLL HERE
- Set up a meeting with the Micro-Credential Coordinator: Diamond King-Williams (djw35@buffalo.edu)
- Complete the required criteria listed above. This will be provided in more detail by the Micro-Credential Coordinator during your initial meeting.
- Submit the required evidence for each criteria listed to the Micro-Credential Coordinator .
- Complete a final reflection meeting with Micro-Credential Coordinator
- Accept your Career Readiness Badge through Credly
- Show off your Career Readiness Badge!
